Hosta 'London Fog'

(K. Herrema 2000)

Clump Size: (S) 20" x 10"

Leaf Size: 6" x 3" -- Vein Pairs: 6 - 7

Description: Hosta 'London Fog' is a very unique hosta with lance shaped, slightly wavy leaves that emerge solid creamy white and as the season progresses the leaves become speckled and misted with green.

Blooms: Lavender, tubular, late June/early July; similar to other Fortunei types.

Comments: If you are looking for a "white" hosta we recommend trying Hosta 'London Fog'. It emerges each spring almost solid creamy white and then darkens with green. It is a little slower growing than its parent, Hosta 'Allegan Fog', but still performs well in the garden.

Light: Light shade to full shade. -- Soil: Rich, moist, well-drained.

Related Plants: Allegan Fog

Zones: 2 - 8
