Hosta 'Lunar Orbit'

Description: Leaves are rounded and heart-shaped, thick and slightly corrugated, starting out green in the spring turning yellow with a dark green margin.

Blooms: Near white, lavender tinted flowers bloom in July.

Comments: Hosta 'Lunar Orbit' is a green edged sport of Hosta 'August Moon' that starts out solid light green in the spring and develops a yellow center and dark green margin as the season progresses. It is a good grower and is quite sun tolerant. Hosta 'September Sun' is a very similar plant.

Light: Light sun to full shade. -- Soil: Rich, moist soil.
