Description: Leaves are thick and corrugated, heart-shaped with a point emerging chartreuse with a blue-green margin changing to bright gold with a green to dark green margin in the summer.

Blooms: Pale lavender flowers bloom in midsummer.

Comments: The leaves of this hosta often emerge solid blue-green with the center lightening slowly as the season progresses. It was named "Hosta of the Year" for 1999.

Light: Light sun to full shade. -- Soil: Rich, moist but well-drained soil.
