Comments: Hosta 'Sum and Subtle' is a sport of Hosta 'Sum and Substance' with a light green margin. The coloring shows up best with a little direct morning sun as this will help the center to become a lighter yellow, enhancing the subtle contrast. In many gardens this plant will look very similar to its parent.
