Hosta 'Undulata'

Clump Size: (SM) 18" x 14"

Leaf Size: 6" x 3" -- Vein Pairs: 8

Description: Leaves are wavy and twisted with a curl to the tips, white centered with a thin two-tone medium to light green margin.

Blooms: Light lavender flowers bloom sparsely in early summer on tall, bare scapes.

Comments: Hosta 'Undulata' has a wider white center than Hosta 'Undulata Univittata' so it is also a slower and sometimes tougher plant to grow.  The leaves can turn misty or even solid green when grown in containers or in extreme heat so it grows and colors best in cool locations in Northern gardens and is not recommended for the South.

Light: Part shade to full shade. -- Soil: Humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil.

Related Plants: Erromena, Undulata Albomarginata, Undulata Univittata

Zones: 2 - 6
