Pulsatilla vulgaris - mixed colors

Pulsatilla vulgaris, commonly known as pasque flower, has anemone-like bell shaped flowers in early spring over fern-like foliage forming a 12" mound. Fluffy seed heads rise high above the foliage creating a secondary show in early summer. This seed grown mixture of plants has flowers in a wide array of colors including red, purple, dark purple, and wine. It makes an excellent border plant and also works great in the rock garden. Because this is a seed grown mixture we don't know the exact flower color of each plant but they are all very attractive.  Note: Most of the 2018/2019 crop has red flowers.

Height: 10 - 12" Spacing: 12 - 15" apart
Light: Full sun to part shade Soil: Average to rich, well-draining
Bloom Time: Early spring Zones: 3 - 8
