Sedum 'Tricolor'

Sedum 'Tricolor' is a low, easy to grow, dense-spreading groundcover with green and white foliage that is overlaid in pink. In July they are covered with many light pink flowers. In time, as often happens with variegated plants, it may lose some of the white edged foliage. When that happens it is best to pinch out the solid green stems to prevent it from taking over the entire clump. Self-sown seedlings are also a possibility, however they are almost always solid green leaved as well. With a little effort this does make a nice variegated groundcover.
